Trinity Lutheran Quakertown

March 25, 2021

Members of Trinity and guests,

I hope this month finds all of you well! As we finally have all of the snow behind us (I hope!), it's an exciting time here at Trinity. The council has been hard at work with a few tasks that impact all of us. The greatest of these tasks council has been working on is finding a way to get us back into worship. As I've tried to convey to everyone over the course of the past few months, we've been trying to balance the safety and welfare of our members with all of our desires to return to a more normal worship setting. After discussing the prospect at our March meeting and a review by our Covid team, we've determined that we will officially return to in-person worship on Sunday, April 25th. On this date, we will have both a traditional service followed by a contemporary service (times to be determined). We will continue to maintain social distancing and all attending members will be asked to wear a mask. We will also continue to ask for reservations in an effort to keep our attendance to a maximum of 80 people at the traditional service and 30 people at the contemporary service. Of course, all of this is as of the end of March, and things are constantly in flux. We will continue to monitor the situation and bring your more details after Easter, but this is the current plan.

Again, we thank all of you for your constant support in all of our endeavors at Trinity. As a council, I can assure you we all are looking forward to seeing each other in person in worship and hope that you all will join us when you are ready! The council is also pleased to be working with Pastor Malloy, and we will continue to work together to serve all of you and continue doing God's work as one congregation at Trinity! Be well, and take care everyone.
